The FAFP, representing over 6,500 family medicine physicians, residents, and medical students statewide, serves as the Florida chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians. As the third-largest AAFP state chapter in the nation, the organization plays a crucial role in shaping healthcare policy and practice standards across Florida. The academy's mission focuses on supporting Florida's family physicians while promoting excellence and improvement in healthcare for all Floridians.
